Diana + Derek: The Wedding
I can’t even BEGIN to tell you how much fun Jess and I had with Diana and Derek shooting their wedding this past weekend in Boston. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, and they are warm, welcoming, hilariously funny, and they both have million watt smiles and positive energy for days. And because we met them through one of last year’s awesome couples, Lexy and Jimmy (check out the blog I wrote about their serious dancing skillz from that wedding here), it felt like old-home days hanging with a bunch of our friends with our cameras in hand. This is why I LOVE shooting weddings I book from other weddings!
One of my very favorite things about Diana and Derek is their ability to dance like nobody’s watching (and hello, EVERYONE should be watching—they’re amazing!), and that’s why I loved shooting their first dance so much. Also, I’m now convinced everyone should pause for a saxophone solo during that first dance. I dare you not to grin like a fool while you look through this story of their day—you won’t be able to resist, I promise.
